5-22-2011 - "A Heart for World Missions"

Pastor Paul Devakumar from India speaks of the heart of God for world missions. "How will they know unless someone tells them?" He has been a friend of Crossroads for 25 years. He was the international coordinator for Campus Crusade for Christ in India and now has his own ministry. Pastor Paul is a solid man of God and a great friend.

5-15-2011 - "Faith Alone Is Not Enough"

In the first chapter of 2nd Peter, the Apostle tells us seven things we are to add to our faith. The Bible describes faith as either living or dead. Living faith adds some key ingredients that Peter describes so that faith is fruitful. In this message, faith is compared to baking a cake from scratch. We wouldn't bake just flour to make a cake. We need to add some essential ingredients to complete the cake, and so it is with our faith.

5-8-2011 - "Mother's Day: Seven Pillars"

Proverbs 9:1 (NIV): "Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn out its seven pillars."

Based on this Scripture, Dorald (Pastor Pat's wife) speaks about the woman of wisdom and how she build her home on seven pillars. A great teaching that is timely for active moms. Happy Mother's Day!

5-1-2011 - "The Manifold Wisdom of God"

Eph. 3:10: His intent was that KNOW, through the CHURCH, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms according to His eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This is a "time crunch" sermon that follows the announcement of a new ministry being launched at Crossroads. "REACH" is a young couples group that I believe will display to the world the "manifold wisdom of God." When God's children begin to understand God's plan they reach and become what He desires all according to his eternal purpose.
