5-20-2012 - "Excel in the Grace of Giving"

Giving should be a natural response to someone who has rescued you, provided for you and given youlife. Before the law, Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek the priest (Gen. 14). WHY? Because he knew that God was his rescuer, provider, and faithful companion.

4-15-2012 - "Near to God is 'Good' "

Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV) Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."

Seeking God is the highest call there is; nothing you do is greater! NOT loving and caring for your family, not work or eating, sleeping, resting, or healing from surgery. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

HOW DO WE RESPOND?

1. Sell everything you have and follow Him (Mark 10:17-30);

2. Buy a tent and pitch it a "good distance from the camp".

3. Stay in the tent... don't leave it for anything.

3-25-2012 - "This Day We Fight!"

If you have an army that is full of fear, and doubts the potential victory, it is an army that will hold back and not fight. It will be easily discouraged and RUN away. In the natural, the strength of a King is dependent on his army. In the spiritual, the strength of the army is dependent upon it's King!

3-18-2012 - "Battle on Two Fronts"

Joshua 1:6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous."

Why does he need to be strong and courageous? If God is with him and promised to give him the land of his inheritance, then what's the big deal? Why the need for strength and courage? Just beause God tells you to do something, to transition from the desert to the promised land, doesn't mean that you will not fight a battle. You will, on two fronts, and that battle will test your faith in God.
